HOW LONG AM I COMMITTING TO WORK? You are asked to trade two hours of your time in exchange for an admission button that allows you to enjoy the rest of the festivities.

WHAT MIGHT WE ASK YOU TO DO? There are many tasks that our volunteers tend to. At each venue, volunteers work on a team of two to six people for each performance. Each venue has a venue manager who will, prior to New Year's Eve, inform you of your role, provide you with a printed volunteer guide, and answer any questions you may have.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

Site Assistants: Will make sure artists have what they need, check &/or sell buttons, count audience members, move chairs, check rest room supplies, answer questions, provide crowd control and communicate with First Night Base Camp as needed. At the start of each performance, one assistant welcomes the audience and introduces the performers.

Tech Crew: If you have skills with sound systems (set-up, tear down, stage support, mixing), lighting, photography, videotaping, etc., we'd like very much to hear from you.

First Night Base Camp: Good with multi-tasking. Are you willing to greet the public, answer questions, give directions, sell buttons? This is the assignment for you!

Floater: We need folks to move from venue to venue picking up and delivering supplies in the afternoon and throughout the evening and generally assist in a variety of support tasks that keeps everything flowing smoothly.

Venue Managers: oversee the performance sites. This is a special assignment that requires extra commitment.
